Buzz Bissinger

Buzz Bissinger was born on November 1, 1954 in New York City, NY. He is an American Journalist. In 1987, he won the Pulitzer Prize for Investigative Reporting while he was working for The Philadelphia Inquirer. He has also written many articles for Vanity Fair such as "Shattered Glass" and "Gone With The Wind". Buzz was educated at the Phillips Academy which is in Andover, Massachusetts. Bissinger is best known for writing "Friday Night Nights". He has written two other books besides "Friday Night Lights" which are "A Prayer for the City" (1998) and "Three Nights in August" (2005). Now, he is currently writes "The Throwback" an online sports column for the New York Times. Buzz Bissinger is married and has three sons. He divides his time between homes in Pacific Northwest and Philadelphia.
